Beginning January 1, 2015, E-Verify will remove all transactions over 10 years from their system. E-Verify users will no longer have access to cases created prior to December 31, 2004.
Employers should retain of record of cases more than 10 years by downloading the new Historic Records Report, which will include all transactions for cases over 10 years old.
E-Verify recommends that employers retain the Historic Records Report.
Employers who did not utilize E-Verify prior to December 31, 2004 do not need to download the report.
E-Verify will continue to delete transaction records more than 10 years old on an annual basis and will make the announcement when the Historical Records Report is available for that year.
