What information is obtained?
Liberty utilizes state worker's compensation records to provide litigated
worker's compensation records and computer databases, which provide prior
reportable worker's compensation injuries. All searches are done in accordance
with American Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.
The following items are provided in this search: claim or case number,
date of injury, nature of injury and the name of the business filed
against. Often, the amount of the claim also will be made available.
Why perform this search?
To help control fraudulent claims and improve your employee's safety
ratios, it is vital to verify that no previous fraudulent claims
have been reported on your candidates. According to the American with
Disabilities
Act, a Worker’s Compensation report can be requested once a
conditional job offer has been made to the candidate.
